The Cossitt PTC sponsors many programs and activities that enrich our children’s lives. The year’s fundraising efforts provide the dollars and the parents provide the know-how and labor needed to enhance the basics and provide some extras.

PTC programs, activities, and spending fall into four general categories:
Student Activities
Art Appreciation – volunteers share artwork in the classroom monthly
Assemblies
Author’s Day – children’s author visit to the school
Birthday Books – each child may choose a book on their birthday
CPCFRO – Intramural athletics
Celebrating Cultural Connections – a month long in-depth study of cultural themes
Student Services Council – community and school service projects
General School
Beautification – planting and maintenance of garden plots at Cossitt
Spiritwear – school logo apparel and other items
Classroom Supplies – donation to teachers for classroom supplies
LRC – books and technology software
Teacher Requests – curricular and non-curricular
Donations – to CPCFRO, Science Center, PIMA, Foreign Language Program
District Supplemental Fund – $6/student donation to District 102

Classroom Parties – Halloween and Winter Holiday
