Art Appreciation
Art Appreciation is a PTC-sponsored program where parents give a 30-45 minute presentation on an artist, technique, or art movement.
Volunteers don’t need to be an artist or have an artistic background to help out. All materials and instructions are provided for you! After a short pre-preparation, parents’ present the artist or topic, show examples of prominent artworks, and then direct a short art pre-prepared project with students in their child’s classroom.
Timing is flexible within the project month and is coordinated with the classroom teacher. To learn more, contact the art chairs.
