Book Clubs
Cossitt Book Clubs are open to all 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th graders.*
Book Clubs look for enthusiastic readers who are excited to discuss characters and plot as we move through the book as a group! Book Clubs meet during lunch and are led by parent volunteers. There is a minimal cost/student which includes a copy of the book. Scholarships are available.
SIGNUP in Jan/Feb. Groups will meet during all Wednesday lunch recess periods.
*We encourage all levels of readers to join their specific grade. Reading club for 4 graders is the D102 Battle of the Books).

Book Club: Organizes the lunchtime reading program for (grades 2, 3, 6). Places participating students into groups led by a parent volunteer(s), coordinates parent volunteers, and selects and orders the books. Planning and initial book club sign up occurs in Nov/Dec, and club runs Jan-Feb. Chair/Co-Chair do not need to lead a book group.Time Commitment: Chair- MODERATE. 20-25 hours total. Co-Chair- 15 hours total. (Chair/Co-Chair)
