Teacher gifts (birthday, holiday, teacher appreciation, & end of year)
Occasional teacher projects or special requests
Lead Room Parents
Serve as the main contact person for the teacher and the PTC.
Contact the classroom teacher to work out details of class parties.
Organize planning sessions at convenient times to ensure all Room Parents can attend.

Events happen year round giving ample opportunities for parents to volunteer both in and outside their child’s classroom. (Go to the PTC Calendar for specific dates)

Coordinates and organizes Room Parent Coordinator and Room Parent volunteers in the fall. Coordinates parent volunteers and food purchases for classroom parties.This position has a 2-year commitment with heavy, but short-term time commitment immediately after the school year begins. Time Commitment: Chair- LOW-MODERATE. 55-60 hours total. 2-4 hours per week September-December, heavier weeks of parties. Co-Chair- LOW-MODERATE. 25-30 hours total. 1-2 hours per week September-December, heavier weeks of parties. Note: Addition of Room Parent Luncheon would add approx. 10 hours each. (Chair/Co-Chair)
