Celebrating Cultural Connections

 

Each year, as part of Cossitt's outstanding curriculum, a month long CCC program is offered to grades 1-6. Celebrating Cultural Connections incorporates expressive arts (drama, dance, games, music, visual arts), library/computer science, and dynamic classroom activities to explore a particular theme in depth. These studies involve a collaboration among our children, their teachers, parents, and the community.

Programs are held on Friday. Each topic culminates in a grade specific festival on the last Friday afternoon of the month. Baby-sitting will be provided on festival afternoons for volunteers.
